The Lake Martin area is located in east central Alabama, in the center of a triangle between Atlanta, Georgia and Birmingham and Montgomery, Alabama. We are home to a diverse and impressive industrial base that includes automotive suppliers, distribution and warehousing facilities, lumber mills, artificial turf manufacturers, and a first of its kind graphite processings facility.

The Lake Martin area is building a robust and skilled workforce pipeline for area employers with educational institutions that are dedicated to workforce development, including Central Alabama Community College, two high school stand-alone Career Tech Centers and workforce and soft skills curriculum embedded in all of our local K-12. school systems.

Quality of life is second to none in the Lake Martin area. With numerous outdoor recreation opportunities in picturesque settings that include a 40,000 acre Treasured Lake with over 900 miles of stunning shoreline, beautiful canoe trails, a State Park and a Wildlife Management Area.
